Autotelic Drive is about enhancing your intrinsic motivation for continuous success.
The term Autotelic was introduced by Hungarian psychologist, also known as father for Flow, Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.
This term is used to describe activities that are intrinsically rewarding. And in that way – Autotelic Drive strives to connect you with your authentic intrinsic motivation, so you can put your success on autopilot and add consistency.
I’m Pauline Dougald—performance coach, motorsport insider, and strategist for those operating at the edge of pressure and precision. My journey started under the hood and trackside: as a mechanic at Bridgestone Racing Academy, a scrutineer for Castrol Canadian Touring Car and FEL Motorsports, and a team support member at events like ALMS and the Montreal Grand Prix. I’ve been immersed in the environment where seconds matter, and the difference between winning and unraveling is often internal.
I created Autotelic Drive to bring high-performance mindset training to those who live fast, think fast, and perform under pressure—whether behind the wheel or at the helm of a high-stakes business. My coaching blends cutting-edge performance psychology, flow science, and decision-making strategies designed for those who don’t have time for fluff. This isn’t therapy. It’s tuning your inner engine to run leaner, cleaner, and with more clarity under stress.
What makes Autotelic Drive different is the fusion of lived motorsport experience and modern mental performance systems. I don’t just understand pressure—I’ve lived in it, worked in it, and now, I coach others to thrive in it. My work is especially aligned with competitors and leaders who have outgrown hustle culture and are ready for sustainable, embodied excellence.
This brand isn’t for everyone. It’s for the selective few who know performance is as much mental as mechanical—and who are ready to fine-tune their mindset with the same precision they bring to everything else they do.

“Pauline is an amazing high-performance coach. She applies Tony Robins’ as well as several other methodologies.
You are in a right spot if you are looking to work on your limiting beliefs and understand your actual needs and motivations. Pauline will help you to get that clarity and sense of direction. ” – Yegor Nadvornyy, Business owner
“The coaching sessions were absolutely helpful and they had a huge impact on the quality of my life in various aspects. Instead of reading/listening to alternative sources just to first understand, then assess me and my behaviour, and based on that assessment try to find and fix the issues. Coaching sessions, on the other hand, were amazing, the quality of assessments was far better since they were based on my coach observations and not my own judgment. Then, Pauline has provided me with super personalized solutions + how-tos, and constructive feedback. I started to see it as transformational and an amazing investment in myself.” – Ali Moheb, Architect
“I was unsure if the performance was going to change dramatically. I thought I had already a lot of knowledge and did not think a coach was needed. But now I think that being with a coach is much better than learning things by myself and analyzing my performances. I have learned to be more creative and use my creativity to shift from one mindset to another. To go from training mindset to a competition mindset. I am on my way to improving in faster ways, have better focus and perform at my best in high pressure situations.” – Juan Pablo Giraldo Ramirez, Athlete
